Nott's Fire & Rescue Recognition Document COOKERMISER 2 & SHOWERMISER have been proven to assist in the reduction of false fire alarms. This is now a requirement of BS 5839-1:2002 Section 3 “Limitation of false fire alarms”. The proven technology now offers great benefits to a wider market particularly in respect of compliance with both Part F and L of the new Building Regulations for 2005. Both devices provide precise directing control which will be essential in protecting dwellings against condensation problems given the air tightness proposed under Part L. “Build tight ventilate right” is the current thinking. To meet this criteria the revised Building Regulations call for a “usage sensor” or a “usage detection sensor” this is exactly what our two unique controllers will provide.
